St. Nicholas Church offers two masses in English at 8 and 10:15 a.m. on Sundays and two misas en Español at 9 a.m. and 12 noon. The 8am Mass features a traditional liturgy incorporating classic Rite I language. The 10:15am choral Mass is a blend of traditional high church liturgy and soaring music. Sunday School is also offered at the 10:15 service.
In addition to the misas, St. Nicholas provides pastoral care through the Hispanic Ministry. Latino families are invited to request special services such as baptisms, first communions, weddings and quinceañeras. The Hispanic Ministry is integrated into the life of St. Nicholas Church while maintaining a distinct identity by expressing unique customs and ways of understanding and living the Catholic faith. Children are active in this community as they prepare for First Communion and Confirmation.
In addition to the other Sunday services offered directly by St. Nicholas, a Middle Eastern group (Farsi) meets for Christian services at 2pm. The Farsi group has a Bible Study Thursday evenings. St. Nicholas celebrates a healing mass every Wednesday at 12:15 p.m., followed by an adult catechism class. There is also a women's Bible study (in English) on Monday evenings.
The Order of St. Luke (OSL) provides pastoral care for the ill and dying in the community while participating in both English masses on Sunday and the Wednesday healing mass. St. Nicholas has a "Cell" or group devoted to Our Lady of Walsingham, England that offers the Rosary every Sunday at 9:15a.m.
