The Woman at the Well

Today we celebrated the Third Sunday of Lent. The Gospel reminds us of the thirst that Jesus has for us, a thirst that is satisfied by faith, by the transformation of our hearts, and by the living water that He offered to the Samaritan woman.

Today the community was joyful. The young people from the dance group brought their families. They presented themselves and shared this moment with everyone. Even though we did not have a community lunch today, we had a simple time of fellowship with bread and coffee.

Afterwards, some of the young people spoke with Father Cooper. They shared a little about their stories and their lives and also asked that we reconsider the schedule of the youth group perhaps on Sundays, so that the young people from the dance group can also participate.

It was beautiful to see the joy in their eyes. I just left the meeting they had with the committee. I hope the retreat will also open more to new initiatives and future activities for the young people in the community.during the mass in announcement we motivated people invite them to Wednesday lent mass and soup and Friday via crucis.
