This Sunday we celebrated the Ascension of the Lord, and we were blessed to have almost 40 people at the Holy Mass. The participation and spirit of prayer were beautiful and expressive.
Father Michael kindly arrived after Mass and made himself available to help Father José distribute Holy Communion. Thank you very much for your support and fraternity.
We also thank Quincy for serving together with Father José, helping cover for some altar servers who were not present. At the same time, we lovingly encourage all altar servers and their parents to remain motivated and present every Sunday at Holy Mass, serving God through the priest at the altar.
This Sunday we also celebrated the anniversary of the passing of Dolores into the presence of the Lord. May she rest in peace in the altar of the Lord.
We also remembered the sick during the Prayer of the Faithful before the offertory, offering our prayers for healing and comfort.
Special congratulations to Mr. Geronimo, husband of Alicia, who celebrated his 55th birthday. May God continue blessing him with health, peace, and joy.
Finally, we warmly invite everyone who is able to join us on Wednesdays, once a month, for our community dinner and bilingual Bible study.
